BC "Pari NN" lost to "Uralmash" 73-76

      The basketball players of Pari NN lost at home to Uralmash from Yekaterinburg 73–76 in another VTB United League game. This was reported on the team's social media.

      After the first half the Nizhny Novgorod side trailed by 11 points, but the hosts managed to turn the game around in the third quarter.

      With a couple of minutes left before the final buzzer Pari NN was leading by 2 points, but late mistakes handed the victory to the opponent.

      After the match BC NN head coach Sergey Kozin admitted that the team got off to a poor start. He noted the huge number of turnovers — 11 — which inevitably affected the course of the game.

      "That’s how we gave Uralmash the advantage. Nevertheless, during the game the team showed character and took a 3-point lead. In the decisive situation we again missed the rebounds and handed the victory to the opponent. We were very close, but, unfortunately, couldn't catch a break."

      BC NN will play its next match (6+) on January 14 away against St. Petersburg's Zenit.

      Earlier it was reported that BC Pari NN narrowly lost to Zenit-2 in the Russian Cup.
