      On January 10, due to temporary restrictions on aircraft acceptance at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport, seven flights were diverted to alternate airports — Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Nizhny Novgorod, Aeroflot’s press service reports.

      At Domodedovo and Vnukovo passengers were provided with services and baggage delivery. Transit travelers are being transported to Sheremetyevo so they can continue their journeys. In Nizhny Novgorod some flights were delayed because the crews had reached the end of their duty time: passengers arriving from Hurghada will be taken to Moscow by buses, and the flight from Yerevan will be accommodated in a hotel. Passengers of the aircraft from Istanbul are awaiting departure to the capital as soon as acceptance of flights resumes.

      The airline stated that it is doing everything possible to stabilize the schedule as quickly as possible and reduce inconvenience for passengers. Aeroflot reminds that passengers of canceled flights do not need to come to the airport. Those who did not receive their baggage at Sheremetyevo are eligible for free delivery — a request can be submitted on the airline’s website via the feedback form.
