In 2025, the road surface in the Sovetsky District of Nizhny Novgorod was significantly renewed. The work covered about 38,000 sq. m of roads, including Generala Ivlieva, Tverskaya, Lomonosova, Salganskaya, Dunaeva, Mokhovaya, Verkhnyaya, Zayarskaya streets and others. This was reported by the district administration.

Specialists noted that repairs were carried out not only on main streets but also on residential access roads. More than 5,700 sq. m of sidewalks were renovated on Gorlovskaya, Beketova, Vaneeva and Nadezhda Suslova streets, as well as in the village of Novopokrovskoe.

The head of the Sovetsky District, Alexander Ivanov, emphasized that the volume of work performed increased by 10% compared to 2024. He noted that residents’ appeals were taken into account when planning the repairs.

For example, the requests of parents whose children attend kindergarten No. 404 for repairs to the approach paths to the kindergarten were satisfied thanks to the participatory budgeting program "You Decide!" and the active participation of Nizhny Novgorod residents. As a result, the kindergarten received a comfortable sidewalk, and parking spaces for residents of nearby houses were also renovated.

The Department of Utilities and Road Maintenance added that, in addition to repairing asphalt surfaces, a pedestrian bridge leading from Vysokovsky Proezd to the Church of the Life-Giving Trinity was renewed in 2025. The bridge needed repair due to significant structural wear. During the work, the contractor dismantled the old foundation, installed a new grated metal deck and replaced the railings.

Recall that over 20,000 sq. m of asphalt were renewed in the Prioksky District in 2025, and more than 25,000 sq. m of road surface were repaired in the Kanavinsky District.
