Nizhny Novgorod residents were told where to turn with questions about snow removal and other emergencies.

Heads of district administrations, the transport department, and municipal institutions responsible for the street and road network have been instructed to carry out around-the-clock snow clearing and removal, providing a daily report on the work done to the city’s Unified Duty-Dispatch Service (EDDS). Control over the clearing of inner-yard areas, driveways, as well as the removal of ice and icicles, has been assigned to ATI.

      Over the past two and a half days, more than a month’s worth of precipitation has fallen — about 40 cm of snow. City services, including DUKs, HOAs and contractor organizations, are working around the clock to eliminate the consequences of the abnormal snowfall.

      However, residents are posting photos of snow-blocked yards on social networks. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" found out where residents of Nizhny Novgorod can report poor snow removal.
