Labor productivity was increased as part of the national project at 27 enterprises in 2025.

      In 2025, specialists from the regional competence center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region successfully implemented 27 projects aimed at optimizing production processes using lean technologies. These initiatives are being carried out as part of the federal project "Labor Productivity," which is part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."

      Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, noted that by participating in the federal project regional enterprises gain access to modern tools that help increase the efficiency and stability of their operations.

      To date, 306 companies are involved in the project, which is 25% above the planned figure. Participants include enterprises from various sectors: manufacturing, housing and utilities, services, trade and agriculture. The use of the project's tools allows these companies to improve their competitiveness in the market without significant additional costs.

      In addition, 711 company employees have been trained in the basics of lean production as part of the project. As a result, average output at participating enterprises increased by 42%.

      According to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" is a key instrument for creating a new model of economic growth. It brings together several federal projects aimed at developing small and medium-sized businesses, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, transitioning to a low-carbon economy, and improving the state system of statistics and forecasting.
