In Nizhny Novgorod on January 7, limits were temporarily imposed on the number of people allowed on the ice at the rinks in Dubki Park and 1st of May Park.
According to the city's Directorate of Squares and Parks, these measures were taken due to the heavy snowfall that struck the city.
Residents of Nizhny Novgorod are asked to take this information into account when planning their visit and, if possible, to postpone skating to another time.
The restrictions apply only to the current day; however, additional measures are possible if weather conditions worsen.
Earlier it was reported that about 35,000 people skated in Nizhny Novgorod parks during the New Year holidays.
