More than 20 thousand square meters of asphalt were renewed in the Prioksky district of Nizhny Novgorod in 2025 as part of a large-scale road repair program. This was reported by the district administration.
Work was carried out on main streets: Ankudinovskoye Highway, Akademika Sakharova, 40 Let Pobedy, Shatkovskaya, Zhukova and others. At the same time, pedestrian walkways on Koreyskaya and Lbishchenskaya were asphalted.
At the request of local residents, the intra-yard driveways at building No. 180 on Gagarin Avenue and at building No. 2 on Arsenyev Street were repaired. Turning areas in the Tsvety microdistrict and the Cherepichny settlement were also renewed and expanded — now public transport turns around without problems.
According to the head of the district, Mikhail Shatilov, after the renovation of Tsvetochnaya Street in the Tsvety microdistrict, electric buses began to run on the route. On the section they not only laid 1,000 square meters of asphalt, but also restored 1,200 square meters of sidewalk, installed curbs, a new stop and street lighting.
As part of the development of transport infrastructure in the district, four "smart" stops were installed. They appeared at the "Myza", "Batumskaya Street", "Karavaikha Microdistrict" and "Shchelokovsky Khutor" stops.
The new shelters are equipped with everything necessary: information displays, video cameras, lighting, route timetables, stainless-steel glazing, benches, drainage and convenient ramps for passengers with reduced mobility.
