The A.S. Pushkin Museum-Reserve "Boldino" has launched two new programs (12+) that are available to holders of the "Pushkin Card." They can now be attended both in Bolshoye Boldino and in Nizhny Novgorod, the regional Ministry of Culture reported.
For young visitors coming to the Boldino estate, a new visit format has been prepared: a master class has been added to the traditional tour. Participants are invited to try their hand at writing with a goose quill, as was done in Pushkin's era.
At the museum's Nizhny Novgorod branch on 5 Minin and Pozharsky Square, an original walking tour has appeared. Its aim is to show Nizhny Novgorod through the eyes of the great poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin and to bring pages of his biography to life in the urban environment.
Deputy Director for Development of the museum-reserve Oksana Nesterova noted that work with teenage and student audiences remains one of the institution's priorities. She emphasized that children make up about half of all the museum's visitors, so it is important to make the visit as convenient as possible for both parents and teachers.
According to her, participation in the federal "Pushkin Card" program gives the museum the opportunity not only to launch new formats but also to build full educational routes.
The "Pushkin Card" program is being implemented as part of the national "Family" project, initiated by President Vladimir Putin and launched in 2025. A virtual card can be issued to all Russian citizens aged 14 to 22 through the Gosuslugi.Kultura app. The annual limit is 5,000 rubles; it is renewed on January 1.
Remember that as of January 1 the bank operator servicing the "Pushkin Card" has changed.
