Torpedo lost to Spartak in their first home match of 2026.
January 4, 2026, 19:49 Sports Nizhny Novgorod’s Torpedo lost to Moscow’s Spartak in the first home match of 2026. The game at the Nagorny Sports and Entertainment Complex on January 4 ended 6–7.
The first goal of the match was scored by Torpedo player Vasily Atanasov. He finished the game with a brace. Also scoring for the Nizhny Novgorod team were Anton Sizov, Yegor Vinogradov, Daniil Zhuravlyov and Maksim Letunov.
For the visitors, Daniil Orlov recorded a brace. Other goals against the hosts were scored by Dmitry Solovyov, Nikita Korostelov, Luke Lockhart, Nathan Todd and Andrei Mironov.
As a result of the match, Torpedo remained on 50 points and now occupies 5th place in the Western Conference standings. Spartak is in 8th place with 47 points.
On January 6 the Nizhny Novgorod side will host Kazakhstan’s Barys at their home ice (0+).
