Nizhny Novgorod’s Chkalov Airport resumed handling arrivals and departures after temporary restrictions that were imposed on the evening of January 4, Rosaviatsiya reported.

The measures were lifted at 4:35 a.m. on January 5. They had been introduced to ensure flight safety.

According to the online board, one flight to Ufa was delayed.

Recall that on January 2 two Ukrainian drones were shot down over the Nizhny Novgorod region.

Earlier it was reported that, due to the restrictions, the Nizhny Novgorod airport was urgently receiving flights that had originally been bound for Moscow and Kazan.
