A Nizhny Novgorod policeman fulfilled the dream of an eight-year-old participant in the charitable "Wish Tree" campaign (0+). The boy, Vitya, was given a construction set and was also taken on a tour of the local police station, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.
Police Captain Alexander Kvaskov — senior inspector of the department for enforcement of administrative legislation of Police Department No. 1 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Nizhny Novgorod — took part in the campaign. Officers from the Nizhny Novgorod State Traffic Inspectorate, who came to the school the child attends, also volunteered to help make the dream come true.
Police Captain Alexander Kvaskov gave the boy the construction set. Afterwards, the young resident of the city and his mother were invited to visit and take a tour of the police station serving the Prioksky district, where they were met by the deputy chief, police lieutenant colonel Evgeny Trifonov. The leader showed how police conduct searches of citizens and explained why this is necessary.
After that, Vitya tried on the role of a police expert: under the careful guidance of criminologists the boy examined the case that officers take to a crime scene, and he also learned how traces of fingerprints, palm prints and shoe prints are collected.
"At the end of the visit to the police station, Vitya carefully studied the photographs and posters displayed in the unit’s assembly hall. Deputy chief Evgeny Trifonov answered all his questions and also gave the child real little stars for police shoulder boards," the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region said.
Earlier it was reported that deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region continue to participate in the "Wish Tree" campaign.
