      A new ice slide with a nine-meter drop has opened in May 1 Park in Nizhny Novgorod, the mayor’s office reported.

      The attraction became part of the park’s New Year decorations and is available free of charge to everyone. Riding is allowed only on inflatable tubes.

      The slide is intended for children aged 4 to 16. Children under 7 may use the attraction only when accompanied by adults.

      Earlier, city authorities extended the operation of ice rinks in parks for the New Year holidays. Nizhny Novgorod residents and visitors were also invited to join guided walks with “gorodovye” (0+). You can read about other places to go during the holidays in Nizhny Novgorod here.
