31 December 2025 17:07 Incidents Two people were hospitalized after a fire in the Dubrava settlement of the Dalnekonstantinovsky district, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.
According to rescuers, the incident occurred in an apartment of a residential building due to carelessness while smoking.
As a result, property was scorched over two square meters. A 54-year-old man and an 89-year-old woman were taken to hospital.
Recall that on December 30 a similar fire occurred in the Avtozavodsky district of Nizhny Novgorod. However, that one ended tragically: a 74-year-old man died.
