Due to temporary restrictions on air traffic at the Moscow aviation hub and in a number of other regions, Aeroflot continues to adjust its schedule for 27 December. Changes to the departure times of individual flights are possible, reports 360.ru.

According to information, during the period of the restrictions 39 flights were diverted to alternate airports, more than half of which have already arrived in Moscow. The remaining flights continue to remain at the alternate airports, waiting until crews can rest in accordance with flight safety rules that limit pilots' working hours.

While they wait, passengers are being provided with services in accordance with the Federal Aviation Rules of Russia, the airline's press service emphasized. All remaining flights from the alternate airports to Moscow must be completed by 14:00 Moscow time. Aeroflot plans to fully restore its regular flight schedule by the evening of 28 December.

Recall that Nizhny Novgorod’s Chkalov Airport received 26 flights. Some passengers whose flights landed in Nizhny Novgorod as diversions were transported to Moscow by bus.

At present, the departure of three aircraft is delayed at Chkalov Airport. Among them is Aeroflot flight SU 295 Nha Trang — Moscow, its departure has been moved to 20:06. In addition, UTair flight UT 296 Surgut — Moscow is preparing to depart for Vnukovo at 14:20.

Also delayed is one Nizhny Novgorod flight to St. Petersburg operated by Smartavia, 5N 1510 — it has been provisionally moved to 19:00.
