      Handlers of the cynological service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region are looking for owners for service dogs that have retired and now need caring homes, the agency’s press service reports.

      "A new home is needed for shepherds accustomed to discipline. The dogs will be reliable protectors and companions, as they possess remarkable friendliness and obedience and are accustomed to order," the statement says.

      The following dogs are being rehomed:

      - East European Shepherd named Yu-Rik, born in 2015, black-and-tan coat.

       The dog is clinically healthy (for its age), of average body condition, physically well-developed. By temperament balanced, active, sociable; does not show aggression or malice; friendly toward other dogs.
