      Due to a massive drone attack on Moscow on the evening of December 27, several Aeroflot flights that were scheduled to land in the capital were diverted to Nizhny Novgorod, the airline's press service reports.

      In particular, because Sheremetyevo Airport was temporarily closed, a number of aircraft were sent to alternate airfields in Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Saratov, Samara and Yekaterinburg.

      The airline's press service informed that "some flights are being held at the temporary parking airport due to the crews reaching the end of their duty time." Passengers whose flights landed in Nizhny Novgorod as alternates were transported to Moscow by buses.

      According to the online departures board, Chkalov Airport is currently preparing three aircraft for departure: U 295 Nha Trang — Moscow, SU 1963 Astana — Moscow and SU 1873 Tashkent — Moscow. Boarding for them is complete; departure is expected.
