Nizhny Novgorod Oblast ranked among the top six regions for apartment bookings in 2025.

      28 December 2025, 11:12 Society — "Avito Travels" summed up the results of 2025. Half of all tourist accommodation bookings fell on the summer months. At the same time, travelers more often chose small towns and took part in events. The average trip lasted 3–4 days.

      In the short-term rental segment in Russia, one-room apartments (46%) and studios (29%) were the most popular. Two-room apartments accounted for 21% of bookings, three-room apartments — 3%.

      The most popular region for apartment rentals was the Moscow Region, followed by the Leningrad Region, Krasnodar Krai, Tatarstan and Stavropol Krai.

      Nizhny Novgorod Oblast ranked sixth among Russian regions by the number of short-term apartment bookings. As the service's press office noted, this result is not accidental but an indicator of a "deep shift in travelers' behavior, who increasingly choose not heavily advertised resorts but 'points of meaningful interest' — cities with rich history, developed infrastructure and an authentic atmosphere."

      In the countryside housing segment demand grew 2.5 times: Karelia leads, followed by Krasnodar Krai in second and Crimea in third. The top five also included the Moscow Region and the Altai Republic.

      In the hotel segment the leaders are the Moscow Region, Krasnodar Krai, the Leningrad Region, Crimea and Tatarstan. In the glamping segment the Moscow Region is first, Tatarstan second, Krasnodar Krai third and Sverdlovsk Oblast fourth. Glamping bookings increased by 85%.
