Torpedo Gorky signed a contract with forward Donat Stalnov.

      Hockey club "Torpedo-Gorky" has signed a full agreement with forward Donat Stalnov. The parties signed a one-way contract until the end of the 2025/2026 season.

      Previously the 26-year-old forward was with the team on a trial period. Over two weeks he took part in six games, recorded one assist, and had a plus-minus of -2.

      Donat Stalnov is well known to Nizhny Novgorod fans. From 2018 to 2020 he played for teams in the Torpedo system at all levels of Russian hockey. He played 60 games for "Chaika," 37 matches for "Torpedo-Gorky," and 12 for the main team.

      After leaving Nizhny Novgorod, Stalnov continued his career in the VHL, where he played for "Dizel," "Rubin," "Khimik" and "Neftyanik." He also played in the KHL for "Sochi" and "Lada."

      The day before, "Torpedo-Gorky" won the final match of the year and climbed to 14th place in the league standings.
