Nizhny Novgorod theaters launched a New Year's marathon of performances.

      Listings: The theaters of Nizhny Novgorod have begun a New Year marathon of performances. According to the Ministry of Culture of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, most of the shows will be supplemented with interactive programs for children.

      The Nizhny Novgorod Youth Theatre (TYuZ) has prepared several productions. Audiences will be offered The Flying Ship 2.0: New Year’s Sequel (6+) and The Tale of Lost Time (6+). The festive program at TYuZ will conclude with performances of Deniska’s Stories (6+).

      The Nizhny Novgorod Puppet Theatre has released the production In Search of New Year’s Toys (0+) for the New Year. For the small stage the company has also prepared the fairy tale A Little Horse for Father Frost (0+).

      The Nizhny Novgorod Opera and Ballet Theatre has scheduled a staged concert, Mary Poppins (6+). It will take place in January at the concert pakhaus on the Strelka.

      The M. Rostropovich Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic will present the musical fairy tale Father Frost, Come Back! (6+). The final event of the festive listings will be the traditional concert Old New Year at the Kremlin (6+).
