A truck fatally struck two people in Vorotynsky District.

      In the Vorotynsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, on the morning of December 27, a fatal road traffic accident involving a truck occurred. This was reported by the regional traffic police department (GIBDD).

      The accident happened at the 566th kilometer of the Moscow–Ufa highway. According to preliminary information, the 43-year-old driver of a MAN truck with a semi-trailer ran over two people who were on the roadway.

      As a result of the incident, a 76-year-old woman and a man whose identity and age have not yet been established died. The victims succumbed to their injuries before the ambulance arrived.

      An investigative-operational team is working at the scene of the tragedy. Specialists are investigating all the circumstances of what happened.
