      The information that a child in Nizhny Novgorod received a sweet gift with cockroaches inside proved to be false. This was reported by the city administration’s press service.

      Earlier, media outlets reported that at a morning performance in a Nizhny Novgorod kindergarten a girl was given a sweet gift which, in addition to sweets, allegedly contained live cockroaches. However, in the photo where the child is holding a box of candies, the inscription “New Year in Anapa” is visible, as well as an image of a dolphin.

      “We cannot say in which city this actually happened. But the important thing is: the incident has nothing to do with Nizhny Novgorod,” the Nizhny Novgorod administration commented on the situation.
