      The next 10–15 years will be a period of the greatest technological leap in the history of humanity. This was stated by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, at a meeting of the State Council.

      The head of state noted that, speaking of the long-term perspective — the next 10–15 years — it is already clear: the world is entering an era of large-scale technological transformation and the rapid development of artificial intelligence. According to him, this is an unprecedented breakthrough, one for which world history effectively knows no analogue.

      The president noted that this stage of radical change has begun. "I draw the attention of regional teams, government leaders, and representatives of all sectors. This period has already arrived; it has literally entered our lives, burst into them," the president added.

      Putin also said that the deployment of AI, in its scale and significance, surpasses even space exploration. At one of the recent artificial intelligence conferences, comparisons were made between the current processes and the implementation of the space program, which in its time fundamentally changed the world. At the same time, the president emphasized that artificial intelligence represents a far more breakthrough and all-encompassing, cross-cutting technology that is rapidly penetrating all spheres of life and automating the solution of a huge number of tasks.

      Furthermore, the head of state noted that the pace at which AI systems are spreading grows each year. These technologies affect virtually every person, changing lifestyles, professional activity, and the labor market.

      "Listen, everything will change. You must be ready for this. Absolutely. Now, while addressing current medium-term personnel policy tasks, we must think and be prepared for the systemic changes that artificial intelligence brings with it," Putin said.
