Authorities lifted the special measures after a landslide near the cable car in Nizhny Novgorod.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, the heightened readiness regime that was introduced after a landslide on the slope of the Koshelevsky ravine near the cable car station has been lifted. The decision was made in connection with the completion of emergency restoration work on the slope. This is stated in a city administration decree dated December 25.

      The landslide on the slope of the Koshelevsky ravine occurred in spring 2024. At that time the engineering protection department reported that the cause was saturation of the soil due to intense snowmelt.

      The cost of restoration work on the damaged section was estimated at more than 40 million rubles.

      A special operating regime for management bodies and emergency services involved in responding to the emergency was introduced on April 25, 2024. According to the decree, it remained in effect until November 27, 2025.

      Earlier it was reported that a special regime had been introduced near the cable car under construction across the Oka.

      Also, recall that a heightened readiness regime was introduced in the apartments of a damaged apartment building on Lvovskaya Street in the Avtozavodsky district.
