      In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 292 people aged over 100 have been officially registered. This was reported by pravda-nn.ru.

      According to the regional Ministry of Social Policy, among them 143 people celebrated their 100th birthday. Seventy-five residents reached the age of 101, 43 reached 102, 18 reached 103, and seven reached 104. The region is also home to six 105-year-olds, one 106-year-old and one 107-year-old.

      The oldest resident of the region is Bella Abramovna Khaytovich from the Sovetsky District of Nizhny Novgorod. She celebrated her 107th birthday on June 3, 2025.

      The largest numbers of centenarians live in two municipalities: 28 people over 100 are registered in Dzerzhinsk, and 24 in the Nizhegorodsky district of the regional capital.
