EXIAR insured export shipments of SMEs in the Nizhny Novgorod region for 108 million rubles.

      The Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance EXIAR (part of the REC Group) has, since the beginning of 2025, supported export deliveries of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod region with a total volume of more than 108 million rubles through "Deferred Payment Insurance for SMEs." During the reporting period 18 contracts were concluded, and 12 companies used the service. Across Russia the number of contracts concluded exceeded 200, and 175 organizations used the service. The service's geography expanded to 46 regions of the country, which is 22% more than in the same period in 2024 (38 regions).

      Key categories of insured exports from Nizhny Novgorod are pulp-and-paper goods, metal products and food products. Goods are exported to Azerbaijan, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Turkey, Uzbekistan and other countries.

      According to the REC, clients continue to use the product digitally. All applications in the third quarter of 2025 were submitted exclusively through the "My Export" platform. The platform has established itself as a key and convenient channel for obtaining the product, and also demonstrates entrepreneurs' adaptation to digital products.

      The "Deferred Payment Insurance for SMEs" service is designed to protect small and medium-sized businesses from the risk of non-payment by foreign counterparties. The product allows companies to offer payment deferrals to their buyers without fearing financial losses when entering new markets, which increases their competitiveness on the international stage.

      The application is submitted through the digital "My Export" platform, and within 3–4 business days the client receives a ready electronic insurance contract, without unnecessary complications and paperwork. The maximum volume of supplies under a single insurance contract can reach 10 million rubles. The insurance premium is fixed and amounts to 30 thousand rubles when arranged through the platform.
