An ice rink has reopened in 1 May Park. It has become part of the winter project "Gorkovskaya Yolka," the city administration reported.
As the head of the Directorate of Parks and Squares of the city of Nizhny Novgorod, Alexander Chikaev, said, this season the rink was fitted with an artificial cooling system, which made it possible to open the rink earlier than usual.
You can skate here from December 2 to March 1. Every day except Monday there are six public sessions on the rink: 10:00–11:15, 11:45–13:00, 13:30–14:45, 16:00–17:15, 17:45–19:00, 19:30–20:45.
From January 1 to 11 an additional evening session is added — from 21:30 to 22:45.
Mondays will be days off, except January 5 and February 23. Skate rental and lockers are also provided.
Earlier it was reported that nearly one hundred ice rinks will open this winter season in Nizhny Novgorod.
