The authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod Region have approved a comprehensive territory development (KRT) project for Burnakovskaya Street in the Moskovsky District. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Gleb Nikitin; the document was published on the legal acts portal on December 2.
The project covers a site of 13.27 hectares, which is currently occupied by warehouse buildings, a service building and retail premises.
According to the master plan, the project envisages the construction of 12 facilities, including nine residential buildings up to 25 stories high. Also planned are a covered parking facility, a 230-place kindergarten and a dispatch center.
The document defines the types of construction as well as the building parameters of the future structures on this site.
The project implementation period is planned to be 15 years.
To provide future residents with school places, the construction of a new educational institution is planned. A school for 1,100 students is expected to be built in the neighboring district — in the "Burnakovskaya nizina," outside the KRT. In addition, construction of a polyclinic for 350 visits per shift is planned.
Earlier it was reported that the KRT project on Yanka Kupala Street in Nizhny Novgorod envisages the demolition of seven dilapidated houses. In addition, a 10-hectare plot in Lyskovo has been put up for auction for KRT.
