      On the morning of December 2 a serious traffic jam formed on Rodionova Street in Nizhny Novgorod. This is evidenced by data from the Yandex.Maps service.

      Traffic toward the city center slows down closer to Sennaya Square, which is habitually congested. Meanwhile, drivers heading toward Verkhniye Pechyory are stuck in a heavy jam that begins as far back as Belinsky Street. The traffic map in that direction has turned maroon.

      Recall that a new bypass road on Rodionova was opened at night. The four‑lane parallel road was built to free up space for the construction of the Sennaya metro station. All vehicles are now being routed along the temporary route.

      For passenger convenience, three traffic lights were installed along the new road, pedestrian crossings were put in place, and two bus stops were built — near buildings No. 1 and No. 11.

      Earlier it was reported that construction of the new metro stations "Sennaya" and "Svoboda" is planned to be completed by mid‑2027.
