However, the Nizhny Novgorod side held firm, largely thanks to confident goalkeeping from Nikita Medvedev, who several times saved the team from certain goals.

      In the closing stages the Nizhny Novgorod players strengthened the defense by bringing on an additional defender and managed to preserve the winning score. This is Pari NN's first win in two and a half months — an important result in the fight to escape a difficult league situation.

      The team's next match will be against Makhachkala's "Dynamo" — the final game of the first part of the season.

      Earlier, Pari NN's sporting director Anton Evmenov shared plans for the winter transfer window and outlined the key directions for shaping the squad.
