T2 has introduced a free voice assistant to protect against spam and phone scams.

      28 November 2025 10:50 T2, a Russian mobile operator, has launched the "Voice Assistant" service, which protects customers from spam and fraud. It is already available free of charge to all the operator's subscribers in the Nizhny Novgorod region. By the end of the year T2 plans to activate the "Voice Assistant" in all regions where it operates.

      The Voice Assistant is an intelligent service that answers calls on behalf of the user. The solution simplifies handling calls, especially if the subscriber is busy or does not want to answer a call from an unknown number. The service filters unwanted calls, including possible spam, and sends a text transcription along with a recording of the call to the T2 app or as an SMS or push notification. The subscriber can independently configure additional Voice Assistant settings in the "My Protection" section of the operator's app. For example, they can choose its voice — female (default — Mia) or male (Mark).

      T2 provides the service to all new and existing customers in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Subscribers do not need to take any additional steps — the service is available automatically. This is how the operator raises the level of digital hygiene and protects its customers from intrusive spam and phone fraud.

      The company plans to roll out the service in all regions where it operates by the end of the year. Similar solutions on this scale have not been previously offered on the market. T2 subscribers across the country will be able to use the modern service free of charge, which will simplify their interaction with incoming calls.

      Alexey Sidorov, director of T2’s Volga macro-region:

      "The security of our subscribers has reached a new level — it is now guaranteed to every T2 user in the form of comprehensive protection. The 'Voice Assistant' does not require additional connections or settings; the service works automatically and will take on all incoming voice traffic — it will block suspicious calls, leaving only important calls in the customer's attention."
