Residents of a village in the Kstovsky district, whose homes were damaged by debris from a UAV in early November, complained on social media. According to them, they have been living for almost a month with damaged roofs, fences and belongings, without receiving clear answers from officials.

"Everyone just writes back that something is being done, but in fact — nothing," said one of those affected.

In addition to repairs, residents are asking for an air threat alert system to be installed in the village. Earlier, however, residents were given an explanation as to why there are no alerts about UAV threats in the region.

The district administration reported that defect reports have already been drawn up. "The process has been delayed due to the volume of work and the selection of remediation options," they noted.

Authorities said they had prepared initial cost estimates. The documents are currently being reviewed and revised. Once these procedures are completed, the procedure for compensation and repairs will be determined.

As for the alert system, officials suggested including village representatives — the village head or members of the local chat — in the emergency message distribution. The question of implementing other means of informing people is still being worked out with the region's relevant agencies.
