The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region summed up the results of the competitive selection for subsidizing part of the costs of acquiring new domestic equipment. The support measure is implemented within the framework of the state program “Development of Industry and Innovation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region” with co-financing from federal funds.

As a result of the competitive selection, 15 companies will receive compensation for the costs of acquiring new equipment, and the total amount of support will exceed 85 million rubles.

“Compensation for the purchase of Russian equipment is an effective tool that supports industry in two ways at once: enterprises can acquire equipment at a more affordable cost, and domestic manufacturing plants receive demand for their products. This approach strengthens the region’s industrial potential and contributes to ensuring the country’s technological sovereignty,” said Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Maxim Cherkasov.

Reimbursable costs included expenditures under purchase agreements for new domestic equipment acquired in 2023–2025. Compensation amounts to up to 50% of the cost, but no more than 15 million rubles for each enterprise. Companies registered in the Nizhny Novgorod Region and operating in the manufacturing sector were eligible to apply for the subsidies.

In evaluating applications, additional criteria were taken into account: membership in the region’s industrial clusters, participation in the federal project “Labor Productivity” and in the “Young Industrialist of the Year” competition. Also considered were work with the state industrial information system (GISP) and providing support to Nizhny Novgorod participants of the special military operation. The main condition for receiving support was inclusion of the purchased equipment in the Registry of Russian Industrial Products.

Recall that information about all business support measures at the federal and regional levels can be found at the “My Business” center (мойбизнес52.рф), which operates within the federal project “Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship” of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy.” A “My Business” hotline operates at the center, where you can also obtain all necessary information. Hotline phone: 8 (800) 301-29-94 (free call).

The national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy,” initiated by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, is the main tool for forming a new growth model. It includes federal projects aimed at developing small and medium-sized entrepreneurship, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, low-carbon development and developing the state system of statistics and forecasting. One of the main points of the national project “Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurship” was creating conditions for an easy start and comfortable business operations. Work to support entrepreneurs in this area continues under the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy.”

November 26, 2025, 16:54 Sport NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" — Polina Zubova On the morning of November 26 the Nagorny Sports and Entertainment Complex filled with Torpedo fans who had come to an open practice of their favorite team. During a week-long break between games in their home stretch, the club decided to please supporters and give them a chance to see behind the scenes of the training process. Although it was a weekday, the stands were far from empty. Some even skipped school to watch their favorite players. The first on the ice were goaltenders Denis Kostin and Ivan Kulbakov, accompanied by goalie coach Nikolai Khabibullin. A little later the skaters joined them. The practice lasted about an hour but was held at a high tempo with a variety of drills as intense as a full game. As in a match, there were broken sticks and pucks flying out of the rink, some of which were picked up as souvenirs by the luckiest fans. You couldn’t miss the coach — Alexey Isakov’s voice carried across the arena even over the lively hum of the stands. The session included team drills as well as individual work for defensemen, forwards and goalies. Although the team had a meeting with the coaching staff scheduled after the practice, Torpedo players handed out autographs and posed for photos. Fans were reluctant to let some players go. A correspondent from NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" managed to catch a few words from the Nizhny captain Alexey Kruchinin. He said that an open practice is not much different from a regular one: "Training is not a game, it’s a little different. Today we were told right away not to pay attention to the stands and to work in the same way. So the spectators just watch what the training process looks like from the inside. The fans didn’t distract us, everything’s fine." Tomorrow the club’s newcomer Vladimir Tkachev, who joined the team in a trade with Sibir, will begin practicing with the squad. On November 28 Torpedo will host Minsk’s Dinamo. This meeting (6+) will conclude Nizhny’s extended home stretch, after which they will head out on a three-game road trip in early December. Torpedo currently sit fourth in the Western Conference. Thanks to the break in the schedule, the team has almost evened out the number of games played with other clubs. They trail the conference leader, Yaroslavl’s Lokomotiv, by just two points. Earlier, Governor Gleb Nikitin spoke about what awaits the Nagorny complex after Torpedo’s move to the new arena, which, incidentally, is being postponed.
