Special equipment worth 30 million rubles was seized from a debtor in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      Bailiffs seized eight pieces of special equipment owned by a company that accumulated a debt of more than 30.4 million rubles. The debtor’s assets included self-propelled machines and specialized vehicles.

      Eight enforcement proceedings were initiated at the Voznesensky District branch of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Funds are being collected in favor of legal entities and individuals, as well as toward insurance contributions.

      To find out what the company owned, the bailiffs sent inquiries to various agencies and banks. After the inspection it became clear that the company owned eight units of special equipment. A ban on registration actions was immediately placed on them.

      However, it turned out that the equipment was not in the Voznesensky District but in another district. The bailiffs then instructed their colleagues from the Krasnooktyabrsky District branch to go to the site and take measures.

      The officers went to the site, found the equipment and immediately seized it.

      The company now has ten days to voluntarily repay the debt. If this does not happen, the seized property will be put up for sale and the proceeds will be used to repay the debt.

      Earlier it was reported that a 56-year-old Nizhny Novgorod resident who slipped on an uncleared sidewalk recovered nearly one million rubles from DUK as compensation.
