      In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, police officers determined the whereabouts of a missing Canadian citizen within a few hours. This was reported by the press service of the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

      A resident of the village of Vargany contacted the Lyskovsky police department. She said that her neighbor, an 18‑year‑old Canadian, left home early in the morning on a bicycle and had not been in contact since.

      Police established that the young man left home at 06:30. According to law enforcement, he took a laptop with him and left while the other residents were still asleep.

      Criminal investigators found the missing person near the village of Vysoky Oselok. He had managed to travel about 30 kilometers.

      Police took the young man to a medical facility. After an examination he was accompanied home. According to law enforcement, his life and health are not in danger.
