Six paintings measuring 2×1.5 m decorated the interior of the MTS Live Hall in Nizhny Novgorod. The opening of the art project “Scenarios of Happiness” took place on November 21.
The canvases for the concert venue were specially created by Nizhny Novgorod graphic artist Konstantin Belousov.
Konstantin paints with acrylic on canvas. He combines roller work, brushes and acrylic markers. According to him, in his new project he tried to reproduce those very moments of joy and inspiration that guests experience when they come to concerts, performances and shows.
“Before starting work I studied the history and philosophy of the concert hall in order to convey the concept of such a meaningful place for Nizhny Novgorod residents,” the artist said.
It should be noted that the paintings can only be seen by attendees of the venue’s concerts and events.
