A new life event on Gosuslugi allows you to register a trademark.

      Registering a cash register and a trademark can now be done on the Gosuslugi portal using the "Start a Business Online" life situation. Life situations on the portal are launched and developed under the national project "Data Economy," which is overseen by Deputy Prime Minister — Head of the Government Office of the Russian Federation Dmitry Grigorenko.

      The "Start a Business Online" life situation has been available on Gosuslugi since December 2024. With its help, you can register a legal entity, become an individual entrepreneur or self-employed. Like other life situations, the service is regularly developed and supplemented with new functionality.

      The new capabilities of the life situation allow the user to receive a detailed plan of the necessary steps when launching their business, determine the appropriate taxation system, and also submit documents for registering a cash register and a trademark online, without visiting agencies, entirely in digital format.

      "Developing the 'Start a Business Online' life situation is another step in the strategy to make business interaction with the state as simple, transparent and convenient as possible. Now every aspiring business owner receives comprehensive information about all upcoming steps, submits the necessary documents online, and also has a clear understanding of the stage at which their issues are being resolved. Instead of visiting agencies, they can devote time to developing their business," said Dmitry Grigorenko.

      To register a business, a prospective individual entrepreneur, legal entity or self-employed person will need an enhanced qualified electronic signature certificate. It can be obtained online in the GosKlyuch app.

      The "Life Situations" services are a new stage in the development of the state services system. One such service combines on average 17 government services related to a single topic and allows them to be obtained comprehensively, in a "one-stop shop" mode. Users no longer need to search for services on different agencies' pages, spend time on visits and collecting documents. Everything that people and businesses need is gathered on the Gosuslugi portal and regional digital resources.
