A Nizhny Novgorod resident was fined for transporting Ded Moroz on the roof of a car.

The police held a 21-year-old resident of Nizhny Novgorod accountable for a dangerous ride with a person dressed as Ded Moroz, whom he was carrying on the roof of his car. The total amount of fines amounted to 2,800 rubles, the regional MIA reported.
Earlier, a video circulated on social media showing a car driving along Rozhdestvenskaya Street with an inflatable boat on its roof. In the boat sat Ded Moroz, handing out gifts to passersby using a fishing rod.
Police clarified that the incident occurred back at the end of October. Traffic police stopped the driver and drew up several administrative reports against him.
The young man was punished for operating a technically defective vehicle, transporting passengers outside the passenger compartment, lack of insurance, and for violating rules on the use of lighting devices.
The agency noted that the offender had previously repeatedly come to the attention of inspectors for traffic violations.
Recall that also in late October the Nizhny Novgorod resident staged a nighttime run with fireworks on Pokrovka. The police drew up five reports against him. Another administrative case was brought against the parents of the 13-year-old who was behind the wheel.
