Lyulin: Parliament will promptly respond to all questions submitted by entrepreneurs.

      "At the meeting with Governor Gleb Nikitin, Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs were able to ask a question and immediately receive a detailed answer. For four hours they discussed taxes, administrative barriers and problem situations frankly and openly. The head of the region gave instructions to ministers and heads of local government bodies. Some problems were resolved right during the conversation. For example, the introduction of a tourist tax in Diveyevo was postponed for a year, as small businesses had requested," shared Evgeny Lyulin, chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, on his MAX channel.

      "Such meetings help strengthen trust between the authorities and business, which is particularly important today. The state is forced to cut budgetary investments, so only business activity can support the economy. This is not easy in the context of a tightening tax policy and a high Central Bank key rate. But business believes in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. According to Gleb Nikitin, 200 billion rubles of private funds were invested in projects in the first half of 2025 — no less than in 2024. The only silica gel plant in Russia opened in Dzerzhinsk. The Kulibin SEZ is expanding. The IT sector and the hospitality industry, which add about 10 billion rubles to the region's economy annually, are developing strongly," Lyulin noted.

      "Of course there are plenty of problems as well. Deputies are working to resolve them together with the regional government. We are pushing to speed up the connection of new sites to engineering networks. Recently, an initiative on guest houses was sent from the Legislative Assembly to the State Duma — we can become a pilot region in Russia and be the first to regulate the hospitality industry. The times require that the dialogue between the authorities and business be systemic. We will try to respond promptly to entrepreneurs' requests so that together we can get through a difficult period with minimal losses," emphasized the speaker of the regional parliament.
