Forward Nikita Artamonov will continue the season with Neftekhimik. Until the end of the championship he will play for the Nizhnekamsk club on loan.

In the 2024/2025 season Artamonov tallied 39 points (22+17) in 63 games and became the team's top scorer. But this season under Alexey Isakov the forward clearly struggled: just one point in 16 games and frequent "assignments" to the farm club, where in 8 games he totaled 4 points (2+2) by the goals+assists system.

Due to the lack of production the forward received progressively less ice time, and sometimes did not make the lineup at all.

"The decision on Nikita's temporary move to HC Neftekhimik was made in his interests, with the aim of giving him more playing time and the opportunity to spend part of the Championship close to his family. This should have a positive effect on his sporting results and further professional development," said Torpedo general director Evgeny Zabuga.

By the way, in the summer of 2025 Artamonov re-signed with Torpedo until the end of May 2027.

Earlier there were also rumors about a possible move of the forward to SKA, where former Nizhny Novgorod coach Igor Larionov is now working. However, the club denied those talks. Zabuga then said directly that no negotiations were underway.

Recall that defenseman Ilya Khokhlov signed a full contract with Torpedo until the end of the season.
