Nizhny Novgorod metro service may be extended for "Burevestnik" passengers.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, the possibility of extending metro operating hours is being discussed in connection with the launch of the new double-decker train "Burevestnik", which will begin running between Moscow and Nizhny from December 3.

      As Deputy Head of the Gorky Railway Vladimir Tyulenev reported on November 20 at a meeting of the Legislative Assembly's Committee on Transport and Communications, the issue of extending the metro's operation until 00:20 is being worked out.

      This is necessary so that passengers of the evening "Burevestnik" service can make connections to city transport.

      Tyulenev also clarified that, depending on the schedule, some train sets will stop in Dzerzhinsk, Kovrov and Vladimir.

      Earlier, a video of the double-decker "Burevestnik" Nizhny Novgorod — Moscow was published.

      It was also reported that ticket prices for the "Burevestnik" will vary from 1,600 rubles depending on class and travel conditions.
