A Nizhny Novgorod resident who slipped recovered nearly 1,000,000 rubles from the DUK.

      A 56-year-old resident of Nizhny Novgorod obtained compensation through the court from the management company whose fault led to his serious injury.

      According to the press service of the regional office of the Russian Federal Bailiff Service, the incident occurred near one of the residential buildings where the man slipped on an uncleared sidewalk. The fall resulted in a displaced leg fracture.

      The court found that the management company was responsible for the condition of the sidewalk and ordered it to pay the injured party more than 996,000 rubles. This amount included compensation for bodily injury, lost earnings, and moral damages.

      To ensure enforcement of the decision, measures were taken: a ban on making changes to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and the freezing of funds in the company’s accounts.

      After these restrictions were applied, the management organization fully complied with the court’s order. The citizen’s rights were restored, the enforcement proceedings were closed, and all restrictions on the company were lifted.

      Earlier it was reported that a court ordered a factory to pay 600,000 rubles as compensation to a person injured on the railway in Vyksa.
