An unknown person beat up a hospital guard in Dzerzhinsk.

      An investigation is underway in Dzerzhinsk into an attack on a city hospital security guard. The incident occurred on the morning of November 15 on the premises of the State Healthcare Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "City Hospital No. 1", the State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.

      According to preliminary information, an unknown man attacked the 65-year-old guard of the institution. The victim sustained head injuries; doctors suspect fractures of the facial bones.

      Chief State Labor Inspector Ilya Moshes said that work is currently underway to establish all the circumstances of the incident. Medical documents are also expected, which will indicate the severity of the injuries sustained.

      Earlier it was reported that a 59-year-old engineer died after falling down a staircase on the premises of a Nizhny Novgorod enterprise.
