A four-storey hotel will be built in "Zapovednye Kvartaly" by 2029.

      In Nizhny Novgorod, a four-story hotel with an underground parking garage is planned to be built in the Three Holy Hierarchs quarter. The project is scheduled for 2029. To begin construction, changes will need to be made to the existing planning and land-surveying project. Public discussions on the adjustments to the documentation will continue until 28 November.

      The project initiator is the company Fregat LLC. According to the project documentation, the hotel building will occupy an area of 1,280 square meters, and the total floor area will amount to 4,630 square meters. The hotel will have 76 rooms, an underground parking garage for 32 cars, and another 310 parking spaces are planned on the adjacent territory.

      Construction is planned to be completed by 26 September 2029.

      Recall that in 2014 a contract was signed with Fregat LLC for the development of the built-up area within the boundaries of Belinsky, Korolenko and Novaya streets. Its implementation required the demolition of the historic houses No. 16, 16A and 18 on Novaya Street. At that time the developer assured that the buildings would be dismantled and relocated to another site.

      Earlier it was reported that a long-stay hotel would be built on Studenaya near "Zapovednye Kvartaly."

      In addition, in October 2025 the quarter located next to the Church of the Three Holy Hierarchs in Nizhny Novgorod was officially designated as an identified cultural heritage site.
