In Nizhny Novgorod, after the completion of repair work, staircase No. 3 at the Zarechnaya metro station has become available again. From 19 November, passengers can use the exit to Cosmonaut Komarov Street via vestibule No. 2, the city administration reported.
The repair work in this section involved restoring the roof, and the entrance is now operating normally.
At the same time, the underground passage under Lenin Avenue, connecting Cosmonaut Komarov Street and Druzhby Street on the side of vestibule No. 2, remains closed for now. This is due to ongoing repairs on staircases No. 4 and No. 6.
At these sites, plans include the construction of covered above-ground crossings, major repairs of stair flights and landings, and the installation of a video surveillance system.
Until the work is completed, passengers are advised to use the underground passage from vestibule No. 1, which connects Zarechny Boulevard with Hero Samochkin Street.
As a reminder, the fare in the Nizhny Novgorod metro has been raised to 40 rubles.
