Investigative authorities have completed the investigation into a criminal case against a resident of the Omsk Region who is accused of attempting to kill two people. The incident occurred in the city of Vyksa in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
According to investigators, on August 15, 2025, a conflict erupted in one of the apartments on Vavilina Street between three men who worked together. In the heat of the argument, the defendant grabbed a knife and inflicted wounds on two of his colleagues.
The victims sustained serious injuries and were hospitalized. Thanks to timely medical care, their lives were saved.
The man was detained and, by court decision, was remanded in custody for the duration of the investigation.
The criminal case has now been sent to court with an approved indictment. He is charged under part 3 of Article 30 and point "a" of part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation — attempted murder of two persons. The case will be heard on the merits in the near future.
Earlier it was reported that the case concerning the death of a child due to a wall collapse in the Avtozavodsky District was sent to court.
