Two Torpedo hockey players have been called up to the Russian national team.

      November 14, 2025, 17:00 — Sport. Two hockey players from Nizhny Novgorod's Torpedo have been included in the final roster of the Russia-25 national team, which will take part in the Channel One Cup (18+). The Russian Ice Hockey Federation's press service reported this.

      Forward Sergey Goncharuk and defenseman Bogdan Konyushkov will represent Nizhny Novgorod at the tournament, which will take place from December 9 to 14 in Novosibirsk. They are set to play matches against the national teams of Belarus and Kazakhstan.

      The team's average age is 25. The national team's head coach will be Roman Rotenberg.

      Earlier, Torpedo defenseman Anton Silaev was also included in the expanded national-team list, but he did not make the final roster.

      Of the 53 hockey players from 15 clubs registered at the preliminary stage, 38 players representing 13 KHL teams made the final roster.

      It was previously reported that Nizhny Novgorod's Torpedo had secured its seventh consecutive victory.
