      A new arrival occurred at the Nizhny Novgorod dolphinarium. A calf of bottlenose dolphins was born there. This was reported in the organization's VK community. The parents of the baby are the bottlenose dolphins Indi and Zem. The species is listed in the Red Data Book and catching these animals in Russia is prohibited. Dolphinariums house individuals that were already born in captivity.

      "The birth of each of them is a true miracle and a celebration, a reason for pride and our great victory," wrote the institution's representatives.

      Currently the mother and the calf are doing well. However, some of the scheduled shows had to be canceled because of the birth and adaptation.
