Twenty-three participants in the "SVOe delo" project defended their own business projects before experts. The program is implemented by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship and the regional "My Business" center with the support of a branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund, the "Rabota Rossii" personnel center, the Department of Labor and Employment of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Center for Social Sphere Innovations, and the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in accordance with the goals and objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy."

Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, noted that the "SVOe delo" project is aimed at comprehensive support for those who defended and continue to defend our country, as well as their families.

"Adaptation to civilian life for veterans of the special military operation is an important process, and the 'SVOe delo' project helps those who have decided to realize themselves in entrepreneurship. During the program, participants completed online training in the basics of entrepreneurship, expanded their business competencies at in-person seminars, received consultations from active entrepreneurs, visited regional enterprise sites, and developed and defended their projects in business games," said Maxim Cherkasov.

He added that the project helps aspiring entrepreneurs prepare to start their own businesses, and helps existing businessmen develop key competencies and work out new directions.

Participants in the "SVOe delo" project are implementing many useful projects in various fields. For example, they are engaged in house construction and finishing, fish farming, car repair, leather goods manufacturing, sewing EVA car mats and applying embroidery, goat breeding, photo printing on canvases, pet grooming, and more. Participants also plan to open a medical center, a glamping site and a snail farm, and to launch production of packaging bags and flour.

A participant in the "SVOe delo" program, special military operation veteran Roman Chistov from Vyksa, launched a turnkey family fishing club during the project that provides rods, tackle, bait, a boat and life jackets.

"The idea for the project came thanks to my son Zhora — he caught his first fish without me, and I realized how important it is to share such moments. I wanted every family to have the opportunity to feel the joy of spending time together and connecting with nature. That’s how the idea of creating a place where fishing brings generations together and children and parents spend time together was born. The 'SVOe delo' project helped turn this idea into a real business. I completed training, received consultations from experts and support from mentors, and met experienced entrepreneurs. Thanks in part to comprehensive support, I was able to launch the project in September. Ahead are new plans. In May next year we will open a club for schoolchildren called 'Young Fisherman'," said Roman Chistov.

Ten winners of the project will be chosen on 21 November at the "SVOe delo" forum. Participants with the best projects will receive certificates for promoting their services online and will be able to choose one of the professional services to develop their business: website creation and promotion, setting up digital advertising and social media promotion, radio advertising placement, product certification, opening an online store on marketplaces, brand book or business plan development for the company's strategic growth, and assistance with trademark registration.
