The Ministry of Internal Affairs will begin publishing a ranking of driving schools based on the number of traffic accidents involving their graduates.
14 November 2025 18:29 Society The State Duma approved a bill that introduces new criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of driving schools. According to this document, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) will compile a ranking of educational institutions, including an analysis of the number of road traffic accidents (RTAs) involving graduates. The bill was adopted by deputies simultaneously in the second and third readings, reported 360.ru.
Now information about driving schools will be available to anyone on the official MVD website. This will allow prospective drivers to get an idea of the quality of training at various educational institutions. The data on the site will be updated regularly, ensuring they are up to date.
In addition, drivers will be able to leave reviews about the training process. This will allow a more objective assessment of the work of driving schools and will increase accountability for the services provided.
The new law will come into force 180 days after its official publication.
Earlier, the editor-in-chief of the magazine Za Rulem, Maxim Kadakov, expressed doubts about the effectiveness of the proposed ranking. In his opinion, the popularity of driving schools does not always correlate with the level of road safety. Kadakov noted that despite training at driving schools many drivers continue to be involved in accidents. He emphasized that changes to the system for evaluating driving schools may not have a significant impact on the overall road safety situation. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has a Telegram channel.
