      An awards ceremony honoring the laureates of the annual "Clinic of the Year 2025" prize was held in Nizhny Novgorod. The ceremonial event took place on November 14 at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Information Center and was the eleventh of its kind, Komsomolskaya Pravda — Nizhny Novgorod reports.

      Winners were determined by the results of an open vote held on the Komsomolskaya Pravda website from August 20 to October 24. In total, Nizhny Novgorod residents cast 200,000 votes for their favorite doctors and clinics.

      Awards were presented in 25 categories, including the special "Doctor of the Year" category, which recognized the most qualified specialists in the region. The laureates included representatives of both public and private medical institutions.

      Tatiana Kovalenko, Deputy Minister of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, emphasized the importance of openness and accessibility of medical care.

      "You strive to live up to all the fundamental principles of medicine. It is very important that over all these years the award has united private and public clinics — we are all working for people," she said.

      Yulia Vasilishina, editor of Komsomolskaya Pravda in Nizhny Novgorod, noted the high level of trust that patients place in their doctors.

      "Year after year, the people of Nizhny Novgorod entrust you with the most precious thing — their health. And you justify that trust by remaining true professionals and wonderful people," she added.
